Roxio has announced the immediate availability of Roxio Easy VHS to DVD, a combination of software and hardware that claims to let users to quickly digitise the content of VHS tapes.Users attach the included hardware to their USB 2.0 port, then can capture from virtually any analogue video or audio source, including LPs and tapes.
S-Video and composite-video inputs enable full-resolution DVD recording from VCRs, VCR/DVD combo players, as well as analogue camcorders including Hi8 and V8 models.
