Virgin Mobile has announced the launch of Windows Live Messenger service for their new and existing customers on selected handsets.Virgin Mobile will provide the service, either pre-loaded or downloadable, onto a customer’s mobile, and it will be free for six months.
Virgin Mobile's Instant Messenger product will debut on four handsets; the Samsung U600, the Samsung G600, the Nokia 6300 and also the Sony Ericsson W910i as a pre-load.
Virgin Mobile plans to announce further compatible handsets in the New Year. After the free six months Virgin says the cost for the service will be assessed "but remain competitive". Phones, Virgin Mobile, Instant messaging, Microsoft
