Vodafone has announced 18 new stores in a first wave of a 50 store roll-out to be completed by March 2009.

The sites will measure in at over 1000 square metres of extra retail space, create 90 jobs and will bring the total number of Vodafone stores in the UK to 365.

Newcastle will get a store at Grainger Street, Plymouth will get a second store at New George Street and London’s Westfield centre in White City sees a new store opening.

There will be five new stores in the South East and M25 region; Eltham, Walton-on-Thames and Wimbledon Village will have their first Vodafone stores while Bromley and Croydon will get a second store.

Other areas to get a store include Yate, Wells, Skegness, Chorley, Trowbridge, Northallerton, and Hove with premises at Newmarket, Cirencester and Boston recently opened.

Every store will offer the full range of Vodafone’s mobile products and services including contract and pay as you talk mobiles, mobile broadband, top up and accessories through to help and advice.
