Keeping with the times, Axiotron has updated its Mac tablet with system performance improvements and new features.

The Modbook is created from a mix of Axiotron's hardware and software technology with a Wacom Penabled digitizer and an Apple MacBook.

The updated version gets a new Axiotron hardware controller board with the claim to offer better integration with Mac OS X, longer battery life and now boasts full Bluetooth connectivity.

Customers based in the US or Canada, can place an order either for a complete Axiotron Modbook solution for $2,249 or transform their existing computer through Axiotron's Modservice for about a grand less.
