Doctor Who available on iTunes

Four series to launch for Christmas

In time for Christmas, and for the first time, Doctor Who fans will be able to download series 1 – 4 from the iTunes Store in the UK.

From BBC Worldwide, the programmes will become available throughout December, with one series being released each week from the 2 December, and Series 4 becoming available on the 23 December.

Simon Danker, director of digital media at BBC Worldwide, said: "Doctor Who is one of the most popular and enduring brands on British TV and the new series has introduced the Time Lord to a whole new audience. Now, Doctor Who fans young and old can revisit their favourite episodes any time and anywhere".
