Nokia has outlined a new service that it hopes to launch in the near future called So-Lo.
The service, announced by the company's President at Nokia World in Barcelona, will allow Nokia phone users to get extra information about buildings and the things around them simply by pointing their camera phone in that direction.
The Point and Find service, currently in beta, will offer everything from information about the architecture of buildings to useless factoids.
Nokia has also hinted that you'll be able to point your phone at a film posted to get information about where that film is showing.
The information will come from a series of online databases and pull in information from the internet.
In related news, Nokia has also announced an update to its Nokia Maps service. The Finnish company has added satellite view, terrain view and the ability to sync maps with your PC.
We will keep you posted.
