Nokia teases for Nokia World launch

"Something big"

1 December 2008 10:22 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Nokia World - the company's annual shindig - kicks off in Barcelona tomorrow and Pocket-lint will be in attendance to see what the mobile phone company has in store.

Nokia is promising "something big" to be announced at the annual event and is currently running a mysterious timer on its events page that is counting down the seconds until the events big keynote speech, to be delivered by Nokia's CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo.

Entitled "transforming the way we connect", speculation has it that the keynote revelation will be a service announcement, rather than hardware, but there's also the possibility of some shiny new devices to be launched too.

Whatever the Finnish company has up its sleeve, Pocket-lint's Stuart Miles will be on the ground in Spain, reporting as it happens, so be sure to check back in tomorrow to find out.
