Microsoft AutoCollage tool revealed

Now with added cheese

For those who are fond of a nice collage, and we're not sure we'd count ourselves in that group, Microsoft Research has released its AutoCollage 2008 tool that's currently free on a 30-day trial.

Those with the software hoping for beautifully merged images need pick a folder, press a button, and in a few minutes AutoCollage will transform those pics into a lovely photomontage, complete with misty-edged blends.

The full software tool, for computers running XP or Vista, is £19.99 to buy after the trial period - if you aren't completely over it by then, that is.
