Pocket-lint to offer Credit Crunch Christmas gift guide

24 days of good value gadgetry in the run up to Christmas Eve

28 November 2008 18:00 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Merry Christmas to you. This Yuletide, rather than the tired, "for your gran...", "for your parakeet...", style Christmas gift guides, Pocket-lint will bring you an Advent calendar of Christmas goodies that are particularly budget-friendly.

Every day between now and Christmas Eve, Pocket-lint readers can open a virtual window to a world of Christmas shopping ideas, but instead of a bit of chocolate or a twee Nativity scene, we'll give you a suggestion for a gift from the gadget and tech marketplace.

We'll give you a run down of what it is, who it'll be good for and - perhaps most importantly - how much it'll cost you and where you can buy it. With what's promising to be the most budget-conscious Christmas in recent years, the gift ideas we suggest will either be a great deal - with money off or extras thrown in - or, at the more affordable end of the scale.

As you can no doubt guess, it all kicks off on 1 December, so we'll see you then...
