NBC brings current affairs game to Facebook

"What's Your ICue?" application

24 November 2008 9:52 GMT / By Katie Scott

Facebookers are being challenged to test their knowledge in a new application created by NBC.

The "What's Your ICue?" app uses the news channel's vast archive and then pits Facebook members either one on one or in teams.

They have to answer trivia questions on current events, history, arts and technology.

NBC already has an educational website called iCue.com, and the application is built around the same premise.

NBC News CFO Adam Jones told Reuters: "There's no video trivia application on Facebook as it exists so we felt there was an opportunity to jump in."
