ViewSonic launches first widescreen projector

Introducing the PJ359w

Viewsonic is aiming at businesses with a new projector - the PJ359w - which is its first widescreen projector.

This is an ultra-portable WXGA LCD model featuring HDMI 1.3 connectivity and supporting HD signals up to 1080p.

But it is also designed to be compatible with widescreen-format laptops.

It also comes with a short-throw lens which allows users to project images from just 1.6m to get a screen size of 50-inches.

It delivers 2000 lumens and 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution.

The PJ359w also boasts an automatic built-in vertical keystone correction of +/-30 degrees.

The PJ359w is £499 +VAT.
