d3o Lab has teamed up with French motorcycle brand Racer to create a line of biker gear using the Lab's special shock absorbing material.

The new jackets "provide comfort, warmth and added protection with one single aim: to combine fashion and technology without compromising either", says d3o.

All of the new jackets have d3o elbow and shoulder pads. This material is soft and flexible allowing the material to conform to the body when there's no pressure on it, but at high speeds the molecules inside the material lock together to absorb and spread the shock around the component.

The jackets are also 100% waterproof and breathable thanks to the RSoft Dry membrane mesh developed by Racer.

Jackets are available for both male and female riders in six different styles.
