iolo updates system mechanic for 64-bit machines

Claiming world first

Iolo Technologies has updated its System Mechanic PC package to now work on 64-bit computers.

And the company is claiming that it is the first to deliver this.

System Mechanic is designed "to keep computers in peak operating condition".

It does this using 40 tools in an integrated console designed to make it easy to fix, speed-up, and maintain PCs.

The 64-bit compatibility will be offered in System Mechanic’s upcoming 8.5 version, which will be released later this month.

The remaining iolo products, including the secure data removal tool, DriveScrubber, and Search & Recover will offer 64-bit compatibility in early 2009.
