Packard Bell have now officially launched the dot netbook in the UK and we got our hands on the dinky model for a poke around. With a 8.9-inch screen, the distinctive cylindrical hinge features the red "dot", but otherwise the specs are pretty average for a netbook: Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive.
The glossy lid is an absolute fingerprint magnet, and the keyboard looks decidedly Acer-ish.
Most exciting is the propest of opting for an internal 3G modem and 6-cell battery for longer life on the move. Until we have all the details, take a look at the images we grabbed, not aided by near total darkness... Hardware, Netbooks, Laptops, Packard Bell, Photos
