Royals take trip to Newbury headquarters

14 November 2008 15:07 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are visiting Vodafone's Newbury headquarters on 14 November to learn about the physical and human impact of the July 2007 floods and the ensuing restoration programme.

Similar to her Majesty's recent visit to Google, the Queen and the Duke will meet a wide variety of employees from Vodafone during their visit.

They are due to hear how the floods personally affected employees living in the area, as well as be briefed on the international development of Vodafone, its products and services and the work of the Vodafone Foundation.
