iRobot invents a Wall-E who can clean

The Roomba gets a Pixar makeover

13 November 2008 17:02 GMT / By Katie Scott

If your sprogs are massive Wall-E fans, but they refuse to clean up after themselves, you can buy yourself a limited edition Roomba 530 robot.

The cleaning machine is a result of a collaboration between iRobot and Disney/Pixar, and has special Wall-E paint and graphics.

Alike the standard Roomba 530 model, this robot has a battery that will last long enough to clean three rooms, and two wall transmitters help guide the robot in its cleaning mission.

There will only be 400 units made and they are going to be released in Japan on 20 November for around $860, or about $50 more than the standard model.

The all you have to do is tell your kiddies, "Why don't you do what Wall-E is doing" to get the other three rooms cleaned.
