New tabs and updated interface

12 November 2008 16:24 GMT / By Katie Scott

Opera announced its new Mini 4.2 browser just yesterday, but today has promised updates of the internet browser channel for the Nintendo Wii.

The changes will include a new button interface and tabs.

According to the online gaming magazine GameReactor, the new browser will also include compatibility with the Wii Speak Peripheral although we don't know yet how this will work.

Wii users will also get the ability to check your Wii's Mail from the channel as opposed to the main Wii menu only.

Cubed 3 is hinting that there are other features that haven't been announced yet.

It is saying though that the upgrade will be available next month for 500 Wii points.
