Orange France to slash iPhone 3G price

Could be as low as 99 euros

Orange France is on the verge of slashing the price of the 3G iPhone.

AppleInsider has found some ads that see the price of the 8GB phone going down to as little as 99 euros when bought with a service plan.

The catch could be a 45 euro/ month, 2-year contract for the discount to take effect.

The deal flyer suggests that the deal will last from 13 November until 14 January.

But will the price decreases be repeated in other countries?

A separate report suggests that the price of the 16GB model may also be coming down from 199 euros ($253) to just 129 in euros in France - but no news on deals elsewhere.
