Pure Digital has launched the Flip Mino HD.
A response to rivals who have offered better specced competitor devices since Pure Digital launched the Flip Mino, the tiny camcorder gets the ability to shoot in 720p widescreen.
The Mino HD also boasts 4GB of flash memory built-in that offers an hour of storage for HD video right out of the box. The small gadget is said to offer around 2 hours of battery life.
Another new feature is the built-in video editing application called FlipShare, that offers both Mac and Windows users a basic suite for altering clips and the like.
The Mino HD records to MPEG4 format and - thanks to Flipshare - offers direct uploads to YouTube and MySpace.
The Flip Mino HD goes on sales in the States for $230, no news on a UK release.
