12 November 2008 10:28 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Yahoo has announced the availability of oneSearch with voice to consumers in the UK, letting mobile users search using their voice.

With Yahoo! oneSearch with voice, consumers can search for anything - including flight numbers, sports results, website names, local restaurants and more, by speaking.

Yahoo says oneSearch provides relevant results and better answers to any type of query to consumers on the go.

The new voice-enabled Yahoo oneSearch with voice is available beginning today and can be downloaded from http://uk.m.yahoo.com on compatible mobile devices.

The service works for some Blackberry devices including the 8800 series, the Curve and the Pearl, and also some Nokia 60 series devices, with compatibility for more devices soon.
