O2 has unveiled the Xda Zest, the first O2 Xda to be made available on Pay&Go, as well as on Pay Monthly.O2 hopes the Xda Zest will encourage first time PDA users to swap from conventional handsets and "experience the benefits of using a fully featured PDA without being tied into a minimum term".
The Xda Zest is said to boast a sleek "finger-friendly" touch interface and a 2.8-inch TFT screen
Made for O2 by Asus, the Xda Zest comes with a free 2-week CoPilot satnav trial with full UK and Ireland GPS mapping.
Running Windows Mobile 6.1, users will have access to their email using Mobile Outlook, as well as the capability to view and edit Microsoft Office documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The Xda Zest offers built-in Wi-Fi and HSDPA, as well as a 3-megapixel camera, an MP3 player and FM radio.
O2 Xda Zest will be on sale from 17 November 2008. It is available on O2 Pay&Go priced at £249.99 and from free on certain O2 Pay Monthly contracts. Phones, Mobile phones, O2, PDAs, Asus
