Learndirect launches The Legula Adventure

Online family game with educational puzzles

7 November 2008 14:59 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

learndirect has launched an interactive online game, The Legula Adventure, aimed at encouraging adults to play computer games with their kids – and improve their maths and English skills at the same time.

The Legula Adventure combines maths and English based puzzles "with the colour, adventure and excitement expected from any top kids’ interactive game".

A three dimensional, virtual environment, the aim of the game is to restore power and happiness back to the island of Legula. Family members must work together to solve puzzles, learndirect says there's word sorting games, anagrams and maths brainteasers.

Families can play for free by logging onto www.thelegulaadventure.co.uk.
