Samsung's YH-J70 player announced in America back in August this year has finally made its way to the UK. The YH-J70 is a all-in-one entertainment device allowing users to play movies, music, games and displays pictures. The 30GB model can store up to 7,500 tracks; or up to 100 hours of MPEG4 video content for enjoyment on the go.

The YH-J70 features a light and compact design; with a stylish glossy finish and a large 1.8 inch colour TFT LCD screen and the promise of 25hrs battery life for audio or 5.5 hours for video.

Only weighting 135g, the player is crammed with advanced AV features and supports all leading file formats (From MP3 & WMA to OGG). The intelligent HDD system, G-Sensor, ensures full protection of the ultra light device. A sophisticated sensor detects if the device is dropped and stops the hard disk drive to prevent damage.

According to Samsung, the YH-J70 is the world's first digital audio player to feature the SRS WOW HD sound effect, the YH-J70 also delivers high definition sound quality. Whilst listening to tracks in high quality users can simultaneously view images or play one of five games including a full colour version of Tetris.

The YH-J70 is available in 20GB in Black from Dixons, Comet and Digi-uk.com, estimated street price £219.99 while a 30GB model will be available in white from November, with an included dock with line out. Samsung has yet to set a price.
