As well as the new Walkman W705, Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of the Wireless Home Audio System MBS-900.

The MBS-900 is a 2.1 Bluetooth sepaker for your phone's audio with a "high quality", dual speaker and sub-woofer system.

There are touch controls on the speaker, a built-in radio and the option to use it as a speakerphone with the music muting automatically if a call comes in.

The new speaker supports Bluetooth A2DP and AVRCP profile, and can play music from others sources using the 3.5mm line-in function.

The speaker has a monochrome OLED display that shows track names as well as music settings such as bass and treble.

The Wireless Home Audio System MBS-900 will be available from Q1 2009, no pricing announced.
