Movember has already seen 12,211 people pledge they will grow a moustache raising a whopping £265,923.The Movember event, which sees all money raised in the UK going to The Prostate Cancer Charity in the UK aims to raise awareness of killer disease prostate cancer.
However before you rest on your laurels or pat yourself on the back for donating, Australia, where Movember was born 5 years ago has already raised over £1m from 96,000 Mo Bros.
You can help increase the Mo Money fund by donating to Movmeber via the events website (see link below).
Pocket-lint's own team as already raised £265, but we need more. Go on, support your favourite gadget website and help raise money for a good cause.
Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a charity event held during November each year.
At the start of Movember guys register with a clean shaven face. The Movember participants - known as Mo Bros - then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache and along the way raise as much money and awareness about male health issues as possible.
Movember culminates at the end of the month at the Gala Partés. These glamorous and groomed events will see Tom Selleck and Ian Botham look-a-likes battle it out on the catwalk for their chance to take home the prestigious Man of Movember title.
While growing a Mo is left to the guys, Mo Sistas (ladies who support their guys or just love Mo's!) form an important part of Movember by recruiting Mo Bros, helping to raise funds and attending the highly anticipated Gala Partés. Gadgets, Bathroom gadgets, Shavers, Movember, Home And Kitchen
