Widget.com launches BeBook e-book reader

With claim of being compatible with more file formats that any other eBook reader

Widget.com has announced the UK release of the BeBook, described as "the latest" in portable eBook readers.

The BeBook measures 184 x 120 x 10mm, weighs 220 grams and has a 600 x 800 6-inch display that uses Vizplex E-Ink technology.

Offering one-handed navigation, the BeBook is capable of reading a large number of digital document formats as well as incorporating Mobipocket: pdf, mobi, lit, epub, html, doc, fb2, txt, ppt, prc, rtf, jpg, mp3 files "and many more".

With one 3-hour battery charge the BeBook will last around 7000 page turns, it has 512MB flash memory and there's an SD slot that's expandable up to 4GB.

Complete with 150 pre-installed eBooks, a leather case, USB cable and earphones, the BeBook is available now for £229.99 from www.widget.com.
