MacBooks suffering from faulty trackpads
Reports of track pads freezing up

3 November 2008 15:33 GMT / By Katie Scott
Some MacBook owners on the Apple owners forum have been grumbling about probs with the glass trackpads on their shiny new machines.
According to the Boy Genius Report: "A number of users are experiencing a curious problem that causes the track pad on their new Macbook to freeze up and stop registering clicks after 50 or so successful pushes. The freeze seems to last for 5-10 clicks, after which the button begins functioning again".
Apple isn't commenting but some of the users have suggested that if the trackpad sensitivity is changed a little, the problem will go away for a time.
Let us know if you are one of the MacBook owners having problems.
