Vodafone has finally revealed the pricing and availability for the BlackBerry Storm 9500 as the device goes live for pre-order.

RIM's first touchscreen device, the new smartphone, that's said to have been purpose-built for Vodafone, will be delivered to those pre-ordering via the Voda site on 11 November.

On a 12-month contract, the cheapest option is to buy the Storm for £300 with monthly contracts from £40.

Anyone opting for a 18-month tie-in can get the handset for free on a £40 per month contract with 600 minutes and unlimited texts.

Going for a 2-year minimum term deal will see consumers netting the phone for free on a £35 per month option.

Opting for a Best for Talk and Best for Text Plans includes "unlimited" internet and email, and Vodafone’s satellite navigation service Find&Go free for the first 6 months.
