Italian designer Marco Valerio Agretti has managed to combine praticality with entertainment in the Vela rangehood.

This rangehood is designed to remove all cooking fumes, including indoor barbecuing and the most intense grilling or stir-frying cooking with its four speed touch control extraction, claim online reports.

But here's the big deal about this extractor - it has a built-in 10-inch LCD monitor with AV inputs for connecting a DVD player.

Just make sure you cast an occassional eye over the grub.
