Intel and Asus launch WePC.com

"You dream it, Asus builds it, Intel inside it"

Asus and Intel have teamed up to launch WePC, a site for users to submit ideas for concepts and specs for new netbook and notebook models.

The companies ask users to imagine their perfect PC, stating: "Now imagine top engineers and innovators working around the clock to make that Dream PC a reality. That's the dream WePC.com is all about".

The site is said to "a place where users like you come together to share ideas, images and inspiration about your ideal PC".

Users' designs, feature ideas and community feedback will be evaluated by Asus and could influence the blueprint for an actual notebook PC built by Asus with Intel inside.
