Today has already brought rumours that thousands of job are going to go at Motorola, and now the company has compounded fears by revealing its Q3 results.
Motorola suffered a loss for the past three months and also its revenue fell a steeper-than-expected 15%.
Motorola has been struggling since late 2006, but posted a net loss of $397 million for Q3.
It shipped 25.4 million phones in the quarter compared with shipments of 37.2 million phones a year earlier.
Motorola is planning on selling its phone business but has delayed this due to the present economic conditions.
