There's no pics as yet but Alcatel has announced that it has been asked by Virgin Mobile to create a new handset.The Lobster 621 will be a Virgin Mobile branded model, and will be aimed at the lower end of the market.
As a result, it will have a price tag of just £29.99 and will be available on Virgin Mobile’s pay as you go tariff.
Available in Virgin Mobile stores across the UK and online, the Lobster 621 has a dark silver chrome finish and is 11mm thick.
Features include a music player, 1.3 megapixel camera, webcam functionality and support for MicroSD memory cards of up to 2GB.
Purchasing manager for Virgin Mobile John Crompton said of the deal: “We asked ALCATEL if they could manufacture a handset under our Lobster Brand, allowing us to offer Virgin Mobile customers a choice of stylish, but affordable handsets and they have done just that with the Lobster 621.” Phones, Mobile phones, Alcatel, Virgin Mobile
