HP is running teasers for a new netbook on its US shopping site.

The promo banners suggest the company is about to launch the Mini 1000 for a starting price of $399.

No official info for the new netbook has yet been revealed, but its expected to be a 10-incher to broadly rival Dell's Mini 9.
