T-Mobile details Android apps for the UK

Find out about all 50

23 October 2008 15:34 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Ahead of the G1's launch in Britain on 30 October, T-Mobile has detailed the first applications that will be available to download via the Android Market for UK users.

The 50 free apps will offer a wide range of uses, from teaching you to play the guitar, to mixing the perfect cocktail and measuring the earth's movements.

Due to be available via the T-Mobile G1's main menu, Android Market includes user ratings, reviews and comments which enables users to identify the most popular applications.

If you're still uncertain whether you want to opt for a G1 (from free on a £40 a month contract) then scan the lists below to see what software will be on offer. And yes, Tetris is present and correct.
