Pioneer is the latest manufacturer to introduce DVD/ CD writers for your computer that makes it easier to download then burn movies from websites like CinemaNow.

The new Pioneer internal DVR-2920Q and external DVR-X162Q DVD/CD writers are availablw now.

Explains Steven Cohn, director of optical sales for Pioneer
Electronics USA: "With more and more Hollywood hits, television shows and independent movies becoming available in the near future, our burners will also provide consumers a convenient method to expand their disc libraries without the long search time and footwork".

Both of the Pioneer drives also come with Roxio Venue software, which includes applications that allow users to back-up and play their disc media on a PC via the Roxio CinePlayer and Easy CD & DVD Burning software.

No word on the prices or release dates as yet.
