Adidas launch id2 Imperial Scout goggles

Stars Wars fans go crazy

22 October 2008 21:24 GMT / By Chris Hall

So we wouldn’t normally bring you news of a humble pair of skiing goggles, but when they make you look like a Star Wars Imperial Scout, they must be worth a shout.

Hitting the shops this winter, the new goggles from Adidas feature a whole host of innovation including Nano-Foam to stop moisture seepage and ClimaCool ventilation to stop you fogging up.

That white surround also is separate from the actual lens unit at the edges, so if you put the strap over a helmet, you don’t get any gaps. Very clever.

The goggles support optical inserts, so if you normally wear prescription spectacles, you can have inserts made so you can still see whilst you pull-off that nasty backside air.

Yours for £119.95 from Snow & Rock and other retailers. All you need now is a 74-Z speeder bike. (They do come in other colours...)
