Firebox is offering a pico projector in the guise of the Aiptek V10 "Pocket Cinema".

The portable, palm-sized device can project up to a 50-inch image on walls from between 21cm and 180cm away.

With a 640 x 480 resolution in 4:3 aspect ratio, it can playback JPEG, MP4 and MP3 files and has a built-in 0.5 Watt speaker.

It has 1GB internal memory, can read data from an SD card slot or can connect to other gadgets and sources via AV in.

Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, the Pocket Cinema uses a "high powered" 10 Lumens LED to project the imagery and offers around an hour's worth of battery life.

Weighing in at 100 grams and measuring 12.5 x 5.5 x 2.3cm, it's on sale now, complete with remote control, for £299.95.
