SIRIUS XM Radio and Pioneer have unveiled the new XMp3 wearable satellite radio and MP3 player.

Said to be the lightest and most compact wearable live satellite radio and the first with simultaneous multi-channel recording capability, it offers a microSD card slot for storage.

With buffering for pausing abilities, there's a Programming Guide, auto-record function and the XM2go Music Manager software for organising MP3 files.

The XMp3 can record up to 10 hours of individual songs from its live music channels and listeners can schedule up to five channels of recording simultaneously, allowing them to store up to 75 hours of content.

The XMp3 weighs 3.1 ounces and features a "large easy-to-read screen", it's available now in the States for a retail price of $279.99.
