"Revolutionary"

Online entertainment retailer Play.com has launched a "revolutionary" ticketing service.

The new service will offer fans of music, sport and arts the chance to sell their unwanted tickets or buy ones for the event they can’t miss.

The service will boast no postage and packaging costs and no commission charged to the buyer, with the claim what you see is what you pay with "no catches".

The new service will guarantee all tickets purchased and no payments will be made to the seller until 7 days after the event, removing the risk of non-delivery and fraudulent tickets.

Play.com Tickets allows sellers to list tickets at the price they want to sell them at by category, from music, sport and theatre to comedy events and visitor attractions.
