Garmin has announced the availability of its "nüMaps Guarantee", which means new owners of selected Garmin satnavs receive the most updated maps available.

After a customer purchases a new nüvi or zumo satnav, they can check to see if they are eligible for a free map update by registering their unit at http://my.garmin.com within 60 days of the first use of their new PND.

If new map data is available anytime during that 60-day period, the user can request and download the new information, free of charge, by following the online prompts.

Garmin is also launching the latest version of the City Navigator Europe NT 2009 mapping so that existing nüvi and zumo customers can access the very latest UK and European maps.

The map update for City Navigator Europe NT 2009 is priced at £59.99 / €79.99 including VAT and is available to download from http://my.garmin.com.
