Philips has launched a mini version of its LivingColors LED lamp (yes without the u) for those looking for the light fantastic on a budget.

Ditching the remote control, the new miniature version of the lamp will still offer the ability to change the colour of the light shown, however will feature the controls on the device itself and lose the ability to change the colour intensity.

Costing around £70-80, you'll be able to connect up to six of the lights together to give you a constant lighting feel around your home when the product hits the UK later this month.

Although designed to be hidden out of sight it will come in four colours - white, black, silver and clear.
