At the Apple town hall event that's seen the official launch of the new "brick" MacBooks, the company has also refreshed its Cinema displays.

The new model now offers a 24-inch LED-backlit display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. There's a built-in iSight camera and microphone and built-in speakers too.

With a MagSafe charging connector, the display will get a mini display port connector as well as a three-port USB 2.0 hub.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs described the new device as "everything you need".

It will be available in the States in November, priced at $899. The UK price comes in at £649, and it will be available in the same timescale.
