Microsoft has revealed its scheme to ensure all Xbox users are able to access the platform's new dashboard upgrade.

Microsoft announced that users would need 128MB of free storage space to run the New Xbox Experience - somewhat of a potential problem for Xbox 360 Arcade or Core owners without a hard drive.

The scheme to help those lacking the necessary memory space gives users a chance to upgrade their machine's memory in time for the launch.

Those interested need enter their console's serial number on a special site, then eligible users are offered either a free 512MB memory card or a refurbished 20GB HDD for £12.99.
