Rescue Me season four to debut in UK on iTunes

Fans can pay per episode to download

Sony Pictures Television International is to premiere the fourth season of Rescue Me in the UK - through iTunes.

This series will not be shown on British TV, so via the Apple download store is being angled as the best way for UK fans to catch up with the latest instalments.

In addition, previous seasons will also be available to buy. The series follows New York firefighter, Tommy Gavin, and his co-fighters at Truck Company 62 as they struggle to come to grips with the aftermath of 9/11 and the loss of their fallen comrades.

Season One will launch on 14 October, followed by Season Two on 21 October and Season Three on 28 October. Then, from 7 November, the 13 episodes of Season Four will be available.
