When we announced the new look Pocket-lint with all its module loveliness we said we had more things to tell you about in the future, and guess what, today is that day.

Not content with bringing you all the latest news and reviews on your desktop browser, we've launched a mobile friendly version to make surfing Pocket-lint on the go even easier.

The new mobile site found at m.pocket-lint.co.uk will offer you a cut-down version of Pocket-lint giving you the raw facts so whether you're on the train or in the toilet you can keep up to date.

Of course if you want all the functionality of being able to comment, saving pages as PDFs, finding stories via our tags system and the such like, you'll still need to visit the Pocket-lint mothership, but at least when someone in the pub tests your gadget knowledge a quick check and you'll be sorted.

As always, let us know your thoughts and if you find any bugs you can contact us via the feedback form.

  • Nice work, although personally I use 'm.netvibes.com' and my RSS addiction to desaturate content from fluff for general mobile consumption of the internet.

Speaking of which, it would be really cool if you could go over your RSS feeds because a lot of my RSS feeds through Netvibes have now been steadily re-engineered to provide thumbnail imagery with the story by the various feed creators. The BBC, Stuff.TV and most recently Digg have all gotten in on this. I'd love to see you guys follow suit as more often than not your articles do carry reference imagery that could really help to make your RSS feeds 'pop'.

Sometimes I wonder how I got by without RSS...
