Apple has confirmed that it will be announcing new laptops, on the Tuesday 14 October according to a number of US tech and gadget websites.Sending out the invite, which has yet to be sent to UK publications, Apple simply states:
"The spotlight turns to notebooks"
The invite features a MacBook Pro in shadow.
Rumours started to surface at the beginning of the month that Apple would announce a new range of laptops based on a new manufacturing process described as the "brick" so called because the unit is made from a single sheet of metal.
The event, which will be deemed a "Town hall" event, will be held at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino at 10am Pacific time.
Pocket-lint will be covering the event 6pm in the UK.
We will keep you posted. Hardware, Laptops, Apple
