LG has announced the launch of the LG-KC780, another 8-megapixel camera phone that the company says has special features that make it ideal for shooting portraits.
A slim slider phone at 13.9mm thick, the phone boasts a 2.4-inch widescreen LCD while on the photography side of things, there's a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, ISO up to 1600, a SmartLight setting for bright conditions and a built-in image stabiliser.
The camera also boasts face detection while special shooting modes include Smile Shot and Beauty Mode that lets users remove "imperfections" from their subject's faces.
The LG-KC780 can capture DVD-resolution video and has "Motion Sensor Games". The handset's features include "Smart Bluetooth", which allows the phone's camera to be used as a webcam for use in online conversations with a compatible computer.
The LG-KC780 will go on sale in November 2008, in Europe, then India, Thailand, Hong Kong and China.
