There were bullets a-flying (ok so just blanks) as Sony unveiled its 007 themed laptop to a rather stunned group of journos in London. The Z-Series is a limited edition model that sports the 007 logo, and is being launched to mark the opening of the next Bond film - Quantum of Solace.
So what do you get for the £2999 price tag (yes really)?
The Vaio model packs in 4GB of memory, 128GB flash drive, a Blu-ray drive, and WWAN technology which uses 3G networks to deliver broadband speeds of 7.2Mbps.
You also can connect using WLAN wireless hotspots.
Also worth a mention is the Intel Centrino 2 platform and Intel Core 2 Duo processors.
The Bond Z-Series will be available to order exclusively through Sony Style from 7 October and in some Sony centres from 31 October.
But hurry - because only 700 are being made. Hardware, Laptops, Sony, James Bond, Vaio
