• Definitely not the first! Energizer's 15 minute has been in the market for some years. I think the product was voted "Product Of The Year" in 2006. Posted by Paul Smith, UK

  Uniross launched their first 15 minute battery chargers in 2004 - in fact they launched three different models of 15 minute battery chargers (and yes, Uniross were the first - Energizer have only recently jumped on the rechargeable bandwagon)
  
  Without doubt i would say that Uniross have been the inspiration for ALL battery manufacturers, they have been at it since the late 1960's!! Posted by Peter Wilks, UK
