Vodafone UK has added to its expanding range of own-branded phones with the launch of the VF830.

Described as a compact slider phone, it's an HSDPA device so offers high speed internet access.

Specs of note include an MP3 player, an auto-focus 3.2-megapixel camera and video calling functionality.

With a 2.4-inch screen the company says it's "ideal for looking at Google Maps, watching clips on You Tube, updating Facebook and reading emails".

The VF830 will be available from this week for £80 on pre-pay basis.
